cabernet franc

We planted one acre of Cabernet Franc in 2004. For this variety, we selected a cooler planting site with shallow, rocky soil. These conditions favor the production of dark, violet scented wines. We now use this heady and intensely flavored wine for blending with our Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
