Medlock Ames Tasting Room

The Medlock Ames Tasting Room is a mindful restoration of the century old Alexander Valley Bar and Store. Located on the heart of the valley, the tasting room offers a range of tasting opportunities in beautiful surroundings with vineyard views and an acre of abundant gardens.

Guests taste flights of wine and nibbles of seasonal produce that showcase our vineyard and farm as well as the the very best local edibles. Homemade preserves and pickles line the walls and seasonal organic produce from our market garden stocks a farmstand.

Weekly Tasting Options

Traditional Tasting

A daily flight comprised of current releases, and a great introduction to Medlock Ames. You'll learn about our slow food philosophy, sustainable objectives, and how we incorporate them into our practices.

This flight is $10.00 per person and complimentary for club members. Available daily without reservations.

Wine & Food Pairing

Join us for a seated tasting of a flight of current releases and maybe a special bottle from our cellar, each paired with a local cheese, salumi, or something fresh from our gardens. A chance to dlve a bit deeper into what inspires us.

This flight is $20.00 per person and complimentary for club members. Reservations required.

Library Tasting

These are wines that are not generally poured as part of our other wine flights, and this flight is a great way to learn a bit more about Medlock Ames vintages over the years and the range of our winemaking practices. We will start with our traditional flight and then enjoy a few older vintages. Variety changes daily, an are generally older Cabernet Sauvignons and Merlots. Contact us for more details.
