As part of our commitment to creating a self-contained eco-friendly ranch, we grow many different types of vegetables, herbs, and fruits in an organic garden on our estate and Tasting Room. From that, we create special preserves, olive oil, and provide lunch for some of our crew. Limited amounts of olive oil, verjus, and preserves are available for sale.
On our Bell Mountain Estate ranch we have seven acres dedicated to eight different Spanish and Italian olive varieties with Mission and Manzanillo most predominant. At our Tasting Room, the olive trees are all 30-year old Ascolanos. The mix of varieties results in a complex blend we love with a distinctive peppery bite. Perfect for dipping into with fresh baguette.

Our verjus is freshly pressed, unfermented (and therefore non-alcoholic) juice from young, under-ripe grapes. Its mild sweetness, slight apple-y notes, and bright acidity make it an excellent substitute for wine vinegar or citrus in cooking, a perfect companion to extra virgin olive oil in a simple vinaigrette, and a great mixer for sparkling water or seasonal cocktails.
A delightful mélange of fresh fruits from our Ranch, our homemade Citrus Marmalade is 100% organic and handpicked. Chock full of nature’s goodness including kumquats, Meyer lemons, and Valencia oranges.

This jam is made with handpicked Alicante Bouschet grapes and captures the mood of a serene day. Use it for toast in the morning, swirl it in yogurt, or add it to our favorite, crunchy PB&J.
