Our Sauvignon Blanc blocks are planted on the lower bench of Bell Mountain, where they benefit from consistent sun exposure that can evenly ripen fruit from year to year. Due to ideal conditions in 2012 the grapes were picked at full ripeness and really showcase some more of the tropical flavors that Sauvignon Blanc can provide in contrast to the more limey and lemony spectrum of cooler vintages.

Our first vintage of this single block wine, sourced from vineyard blocks CSA and CSB, generally the first of our cabernet blocks to ripen each year due to the excellent and even sun exposure they receive on their own little hilltop.

This juicy Rosé is a perfect summer wine suitable for many occasions. It’s vibrant magenta hue hints at its ripe cranberry, strawberry, and cherry pie aromas followed by tart pomegranate and blood orange flavors on the finish. Have a little fun with this wine, pairing freely with a variety of dishes at your summer gatherings, from smoked salmon to barbecue and pasta salad.

Our newest single-block Cabernet Sauvignon from one of our highest quality vineyard blocks, planted with unusually close vine spacing. The close spacing in these sites promotes competition among the vines, essentially creating a bonsai effect that keeps the vines petite – hence the name “Small Vines”.

Each block of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, along with our tiny block of Cabernet Franc, were carefully hand-sorted after harvest and fermented in separate tanks. As the resulting wines developed and aged in barrel we selected and blended some of our best lots of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, representing distinct areas of our vineyards, giving us a chance to show how many different elements from the same vineyard combine to make a harmonious Bell Mountain Ranch blend.

The core of this wine comes from our oldest Merlot planting, where tiny clusters of the inky dark Jefferson Clone produce wonderful fruit.

Each of the small Cabernet Sauvignon blocks we farm was organically farmed, the grapes were hand-picked, sorted and fermented separately to provide a variety of aromas and flavors with which to craft this wine.

The zippy acidity of this vintage is a perfect foil for the sugar in this wine, making for a not-too-sweet dessert wine bursting with white peach, tropical, lemony, and slightly honeyed notes. 375mL.

Our first foray into late harvest Merlot is a perfect accompaniment for rich chocolate desserts, salty nuts, and hard cheeses. 375mL.
