Here is a special New Year's Eve cocktail recipe we've put together to help you ring in 2013 (pictured at left).
1/2 oz Medlock Ames Verjus
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1/4 oz Clear Creek cassis liquor
Your favorite Sparkling Wine
Pomegranate Jewels
Combine the first three ingredients in a Champagne flute and top with your favorite sparkling wine and pomegranate jewels. You can order the Medlock Ames Verjus in our Store.
Nestled behind the Medlock Ames tasting room sits the Alexander Valley Bar, our incarnation of a century-old hideout. The dimly lit bar features a tin ceiling and warm shades of walnut, oak and redwood which muster-up a cozy cross between turn-of-the-century saloon and modern cocktail den. Sit at the oak bar or kick back on a plush victorian-style banquette while enjoying everything from seasonal cocktails using home-grown ingredients, local microbrews and wines to old favorites that have been ordered at the bar through the years.
The Alexander Valley Bar is the heart of the Alexander Valley. A meeting place for locals and visitors alike. It shares the same organic gardens and landscape as the Medlock Ames Tasting Room, where many of the drink menu ingredients are sourced. On warm evenings, seating opens up on the porch to allow a view of the Valley.
